His wife, Susan Bunnell, brings to the partnership an acclaimed culinary flair that makes every wine tasting an epicurean event. The Bunnell Family Cellar is the result of Ron and Susan Bunnell's love for the winemaking art, and the joy they take in handcrafting these wines together. It is a legacy that they have built for and with their children.

About RiverAerie

Located on the banks of the Yakima River in Washington, the RiverAerie Farm is the Bunnell family home. This idyllic setting is also the site of our winery, and our lavender and herb gardens.


In 2007, we introduced a line of wines named for our farm. The RiverAerie brand features varietal wines and blends selected for their unique character and quality. These wines are "gently" priced to bring our customers exceptional values.

Red Winemaking Process
All of our wines are made in small, open top fermenters and punched down by hand at the family winery. They are then aged for about 16 months in American and Hungarian barrels in our underground barrel chai and bottled with minimal filtration. We think the most important role of the winemaker is to be a good steward of the wine and let it speak for itself.
